Plan for the future
Navigate the present

Since most of us only die once, “do overs” are not usually an option. We don’t get the chance to go back, or take a time out, to make sure our affairs are “in order.” Most of us want it to be easy for other people to manage our estate or our affairs when we aren’t there to guide them or give them more information. Take the time to put your plan together, we are here to help.

What we do

We work with individuals, families, and small business owners to make sure that what you want to have happen with your assets and property (your stuff) actually does happen when you are incapacitated (not able to make decisions) and when you die.

Let’s get started.

When you are ready to make or update your plan, these tools provide prompts and guides for you to make decisions and collaborate with us to complete the process. You will find information about the legal documents, checklists for the kinds of information to collect and decisions to make, and resources and freebies.

We are a wife and husband team practicing law together in Minnesota

We regularly serve on nonprofit boards. We have taken ballroom dance lessons. Our families have “cabins” in Michigan and in New York, where they are called “camps.” Each family member has a (different) favorite team in the English Premier League - which makes for some lively conversations at the dinner table.
